We are actively trying to reduce our carbon footprint as a business. 90% of our work is within a seven mile radius of the business and we have a maximum 15 mile working radius.

We run one light commercial vehicle and a very economical petrol driven woodchipper. Almost all our power tools are battery powered, including chainsaws, blowers and hedge cutters. The majority of our jobs are completely with the battery operated tools.

All waste is processed into woodchip on site and either kept by the customer or taken to a local organic waste recycling centre.

Where possible we encourage customers to prune and maintain healthy trees rather than to fell and remove them.

We work hard to repair and maintain our existing machinery, further reducing our carbon footprint by limiting the generation of embodied carbon emissions associated with the creation of new machinery, and the end-of-life emissions associated with the disposal of old machinery.
